As a Copywriter at Minted, you will support a full time copywriter with a variety of projects, Minted stakeholders and teams. In this role, you embody our brand and your focus is on the execution of copy projects supporting Minted’s brand strategy and essence. This is an exciting growth opportunity where you can take and elevate our current brand language and help us achieve Minted’s potential as one of the fastest growing e-commerce brands today. This role would work in our San Francisco office initially but we are open to a flexible work arrangement after you become familiar with the Minted brand.

You will:

    • Understand the Minted brand and consumer and create messaging that is both on-brand and which engages consumers
    • Work closely with the designers and marketers to support integrated marketing campaigns, as well as specific marketing levers
    • Produce copy and conceptual input for all marketing materials (e.g., email, digital advertising, site content, SEO, social media, affiliates, catalog, direct mail, video, and print advertising, etc.)
    • Take marketing campaign objectives, the consumer’s path to purchase and the life cycle of the brand into account, ensure integrated and channel-appropriate communications to the consumer
    • Hone and test copy over time for improved metrics, based on data (e.g., email open rates, click through, etc.)
    • Partner on setting up processes that influence copywriting for the Minted brand
    • Document copywriting best practices for the Minted brand
    • Provide support to other company initiatives to hone customer or investor facing messages

You are:

    • Able to articulate how business objectives translate to specific marketing campaign and copy strategy
    • A self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced dynamic environment where creatives and marketers work together to solve tactical and brand initiatives
    • Able to work on multiple assignments/deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality
    • Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency
    • An effective communicator and collaborator

You have:

    • 3-6 years of copywriting experience
    • In-house copywriting/editorial experience for a strong retail brand; some agency experience a plus
    • A positive attitude and team orientation
    • Experience and passion writing for an art-focused, lifestyle brand
    • Strong time management skills
