We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team and help us reach the next 1 million low-income and at-risk individuals and get One Degree into their hands. We are looking for someone who is excited about creating and executing digital marketing campaigns that lead to empowering low-income families to use our platform.

The Digital Marketing Manager will partner with staff and leadership to drive forward One Degree’s growth.

  • 25% of the role will focus on marketing strategy development.

  • 75% of the role will be focused on implementing that strategy, reaching low-income and at-risk community members directly with digital marketing campaign and advertising implementation work.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Digital Advertising: Manage and set up digital ads, including Google Adwords and others you identify as good opportunities to test and reach our target market.  Evaluate performance and adjust as necessary to achieve goals.

  • Manage Social Media & Content: Manage One Degree’s social media accounts (including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter) and the overall content we disseminate to our user community, using these tools to drive outbound marketing campaigns that build awareness and generate demand.

  • Product Communication: Create messaging intended for product launches, emails, announcements, and blog updates

  • Set Goals & Report on Metrics: Establish, evaluate, and report on performance towards our growth goals on a monthly and quarterly basis.

  • Offline Advertising & Collateral Distribution: Reach community members both online and where they are in the real-world through a variety of non-digital media (transit ads, flyers, billboards, etc).

You may be the ideal candidate if you have:

  • a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years of digital marketing experience, including digital ad placement, social media management, and demonstrated campaign success

  • demonstrated experience using A/B testing to develop and refine ads based on ROI

  • demonstrated ability to drive and manage multiple projects simultaneously and successfully

  • familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or other social media management tools

  • excellent writing skills and do not need a proofreader for most work

  • experience finding and maintaining an organization’s “voice” for outbound media and writing

  • high proficiency with Excel/Google Spreadsheets, task tracking software, and Salesforce a plus

  • a passion for helping low-income families build a path out of poverty
