The Role We are hiring Shop Managers for our Shibuya, Harajuku, and Roppongi shops. This role is the “daily captain” of the store: you’ll lead operations, guide the team, protect quality and cleanliness standards, maintain strong relationships with building staff, and coordinate smoothly with internal HQ. 5 Chome-1-11 Roppongi, Minato City, Tokyo 106-0032 Main Mission As Shop Manager, your core responsibilities include: 1) Leading Daily Shop Operations
Oversee opening/closing, daily routines, shift transitions, break control, customer flow, and calm problem-solving during busy hours. 2) Team Leadership & Communication
Support staff performance day-to-day, set a positive tone, improve teamwork, and ensure clear communication in both Japanese and English. 3) Quality, Hygiene & Shop Systems
Maintain excellent cleanliness, food safety, and equipment care using checklists and systems. Keep the shop always “inspection-ready.” 4) Training & Staff Development
Train new team members, improve training consistency, and help junior staff grow into strong leaders. 5) Stock / Ordering / Vendor Awareness
Monitor inventory levels, reduce waste, prevent out-of-stock, and communicate ordering needs properly with internal teams. 6) Customer Experience + PR Support
Create a welcoming guest experience and support customer engagement and shop PR initiatives. 7) Building Communication
Coordinate smoothly with building facility staff and follow building rules/procedures. High-level Japanese communication is essential. 8) Brand Leadership
Maintain and grow the Falafel Brothers brand by protecting standards, guest experience, team culture, and positive community presence—every single day. 9) Staff Assistance 
Be trained for the basic regular operations of the shop and be ready to step in and assist the staff when needed Requirements Must-have: Fluent Japanese (business-level or higher): speaking/reading/writing (required for building communication) Fluent English for both foreign staff and foreign customers Leadership mindset: reliable, calm, kind, and consistent Strong responsibility for hygiene, standards, and team culture Previous experience as a shop manager / assistant manager / team leader (food & beverage or retail preferred) Work Schedule 5 days per week - specific dates depend on shifts (combination of weekdays and weekends) 9 hours per day (including 1-hour break) Shift schedule based on shop needs (including weekends/holidays as required) Why This Role Is Special You’ll lead teams in some of Tokyo’s most energetic areas, inside an international vegan brand that values warmth and professionalism. 開店／閉店、日次ルーティン、シフト交代、休憩管理、客導線、繁忙時の落ち着いたトラブル対応などを管理します。 2）チームマネジメント／コミュニケーション
日々のスタッフのパフォーマンスを支え、前向きな雰囲気をつくり、連携を改善し、日本語・英語の両方で明確なコミュニケーションを徹底します。 3）品質・衛生・店舗システム管理
