Quantity Surveyor (Expat)

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting international opportunity? Join a leading EPC organoisationsr working on a major projecs in Zambia!

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our clients dynamic team in Zambia. You will play a pivotal role in cost management and control throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring value for money and compliance with contractual obligations in this challenging and rewarding EPC environment. The role will work on a rotation basis of 10 week in Zambia and 2 weeks back in SA. The organisation will provide flights accommodation and a vehicle for expats

• Prepare, review, and manage bills of quantities, cost estimates, and budgets
• Monitor project costs and forecast potential overruns
• Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams
• Implement cost control procedures and reporting systems
• Manage variation claims, payment applications, and final accounts
• Ensure compliance with local and international contractual standards and regulations

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on EPC projects, preferably in Africa or similar emerging markets
• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
• Strong contract administration and commercial management skills -
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to adapt to a multicultural work environment in an expatriate role
• Willingness to relocate and work in Zambia for the project duration

Negotiable based on experience : clients decretion will be used to determine the offer.
