The TourAxis Transport Team is responsible for delivering transport services across all tours throughout Europe and worldwide for Expat Explore.

Expat Explore Travel aims to Make Travel Possible through high-quality, great-value group tours for travellers seeking unforgettable experiences. Our guided tours span Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States & Canada, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and South America.

Founded in 2005 by two friends, Carl & Jakes, Expat Explore was built on a shared passion for exploration and delivering fun, affordable, and once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences. Today, Expat Explore forms part of TourAxis, alongside Group Tour Shop, with more exciting travel brands still to come.

Together, Expat Explore and Group Tour Shop welcome over 20,000 travellers from around the world each year. Group coach travel continues to be one of the most immersive and rewarding ways to explore the world.

Expression of Interest – 2027 Season

We are currently accepting expressions of interest only from experienced and passionate coach drivers who may be available to join our award-winning European tour operations during the 2027 season.

Submitting an expression of interest does not guarantee placement but allows us to consider you for Tour Driver opportunities as they become available.

The Opportunity

As a Tour Driver in Europe, you will work as part of a two-person team alongside an experienced and knowledgeable Tour Leader, delivering a safe, professional, and memorable on-the-road experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving one of our tour coaches across Europe on tours ranging from 7–26 days
• Committing to extended periods on the road during the Summer season
• Planning and communicating effectively with your Tour Leader and the wider Operations & Transport Team
• Maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and completing basic maintenance checks
• Navigating between destinations in line with the tour itinerary
• Actively participating in the group experience and engaging with passengers

This Role Is for You If You:

• Have a genuine interest in travelling across Europe and sharing its cultures, food, and experiences
• Always prioritise passenger safety
• Are organised, adaptable, and proactive in problem-solving
• Maintain professionalism at all times while focusing on guest experience

Eligibility & Requirements

• Valid EU passport or valid EU work visa (mandatory)
• Valid EU manual driving licence (D class)
• Valid driver tachograph card
• Valid Driver CPC
• Ability to be away from home for much of the Summer season
• High level of English, both spoken and written

Please note: We are unable to consider applicants who do not hold an EU passport or valid EU work visa.

Remuneration

Engagement is offered on a contractual basis with a day rate of pay, earnable incentives, commissions, and a recommended tipping policy. Further details will be shared with shortlisted candidates closer to the 2027 season.
