GI Hospitalist Opening in TennesseeLocation: Bristol, TN Nearby Cities: Johnson City 25 m, Kingsport 25 m, Asheville, NC 95 m Type: Full-Time, Permanent Setting: Gastroenterology – Hospitalist Model Visa Sponsorship: J-1 Eligible ---Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join its expanding GI Hospitalist program in Bristol, Tennessee. This opportunity offers an innovative hospitalist model with highly competitive compensation, protected time off, and strong administrative support. # Practice Overview:Hospital-employed opportunity – not locums Shift-based hospitalist coverage model with 14–18 protected days off per month Coverage includes: - General GI clinic - Endoscopic procedures - Hospital call APP support available Flexible scheduling (10–14 days/month or week-on/week-off) Focus on patient care while administrative functions (billing, overhead, office management) are fully supported Physician-led medical group with opportunities for research, mentorship, teaching, and leadership ---# Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary (90th percentile MGMA for part-time work) Student loan forgiveness – maximum tax-free allowable by law Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Comprehensive benefits package including health, 401(k), CME allowance Generous paid time off ---# About the Area:Bristol, located in northeast Tennessee along the Virginia border, is known for its vibrant music scene, motorsports heritage, and outdoor recreation.
