Opening Staff Wanted for Our New Monzen-Nakacho Campus! Smile Club International School is expanding! We are excited to announce the opening of our new Monzen-Nakacho Campus in September 2026 and are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated part-time teachers to join our team. About Smile Club Smile Club was established in 2002 as an after-school English program and expanded to include a Preschool and Kindergarten in 2006. Since then, we have continued to grow and now operate multiple educational facilities, including government-licensed nurseries. Our new Monzen-Nakacho Campus will provide an all-English learning environment where children can develop confidence, creativity, and communication skills through fun and engaging activities. Position Requirements * Currently residing in Tokyo, or planning to relocate to Tokyo within the next three months * Valid work visa with at least six months remaining * Able to commit to working for at least one school year * Passionate about teaching and working with young children * Special skills and talents are welcome (but not required), such as: * Playing musical instruments * Dance and performing arts * Arts and crafts * Sports instruction * Video editing and content creation Training Period All new staff members will receive training at our Sumiyoshi Campus　before and after the opening of the Monzen-Nakacho Campus. The initial three months will be considered a training/probation period. At the end of the three-month period, one of the following decisions will be made based on performance, attitude, and suitability: * Offer of a formal employment contract * Extension of the training/probation period * Completion of employment at the end of the training period Working Days * Monday to Friday and/or Saturdays * Some school events may be held on weekends or national holidays Working Hours Preschool & Kindergarten * 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. / 2:45 p.m. Afternoon Classes * 2:45 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. * 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Saturday Classes * 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. * 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Days Off * Two days per week * Staff working on Saturdays will receive a weekday off instead Salary & Benefits * Hourly wage: JPY 1,400 – JPY 1,800 * Starting wage for applicants with no teaching experience: JPY 1,400/hour * Transportation expenses reimbursed (up to JPY 15,000 per month) Outstanding staff may be considered for: * Salary increases * Additional responsibilities * Full-time employment opportunities Join Our Growing Team!
