Your next career opportunity
In this role, you will coordinate and support engaging Arts events for diverse internal and external audiences. You will build trusted partnerships with academics while developing broad skills in event operations, communications and stakeholder management.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate the Faculty’s academic engagement program and support selected public events from planning through to delivery.
- Provide end-to-end event management, including registrations, logistics, supplier liaison, contracts, budgeting, risk planning and on-the-day support.
- Develop and maintain event communications, websites and collateral, ensuring clear, timely and audience-appropriate information.
- Support consistent, compliant engagement practices by using University policies, templates, toolkits, training and governance processes.
- Monitor and report on event performance, capturing insights to improve future engagement activities and stakeholder experiences.
You may be a great fit if:
- Hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent mix of education and experience.
- Bring proven experience delivering small and large-scale events, including VIP, online and hybrid formats.
- Demonstrate strong planning, attention to detail and organisational skills across multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
- Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including academics, professional staff, partners, alumni and external suppliers.
- Communicate confidently in writing and in person, tailoring messages for varied internal and external audiences.
- Thrive in fast-paced environments, managing competing priorities with initiative, self-motivation and sound judgement.
