Musashi International School Tokyo seeks an educator with experience in a multicultural
environment. The candidate should reside in Japan and be willing to work in a Cambridge
Assessment International Education School in Tokyo. We are searching for an individual who
has strong teaching experience with a Science/Physics background and is flexible working with
different levels of students in Middle and High School.
General Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
● Preference will be given to those with experience teaching in a secondary school
● Preference will be given to those with a teaching background (degree, licensure)
● Preference will be given to those with a degree in the relevant field for the subject
● High level of personal skill in and passion for teaching middle and high school students
● Interest in innovative lesson design and in helping English language learners.
Professional Responsibilities:
● Planning and instructing lessons on specific topics and subjects
● Enforcing classroom management and school policies
● Assessing and accommodating students' learning needs and styles
● Preparing students for Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level examinations
● Grading students' assignments, tests, and exams
● Promote the welfare of children and support the school in safeguarding children through
relevant policies and procedures.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm
40 hours per week

General duties:
● Full-time teaching load
