Key Accountabilities

• Completes set-up and operation of various pumps, hoses, tanks, and filtration units
• Able to perform physical tasks and duties including e.g. loading/unloading, shoveling, moving equipment
• Assists with offloading/ loading tanker trucks under the direction of the Lead Operator
• Actively participate as a team member in the operation of the project
• Opportunity to operate heavy equipment such as backhoe, excavator, skid steer or gain experience
• Performs other operational duties as assigned.

Experience, Qualifications & Education

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, i.e. industrial labour, heavy equipment operator, water treatment equipment operator etc. would be considered an asset
• Open to working various shifts, including weekends, afternoons, nights and extended hours to meet the client’s needs
• Must be willing to travel for work (including nightshifts) throughout the Atlantic region
• Basic mechanical aptitude required.
• Class 5 Driver’s License minimum, Class 3 an asset
• Excellent customer service skills, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude to represent the GFL brand effectively and favorably
