Gawler Medical Clinic is a privately owned, family-friendly practice that is dedicated to mixed billing. Our patient base is a mix of outer metro and rural with a broad age range. Our GPs are culturally diverse and this makes us attractive to a wide range of patients.

Located just a 40-minute drive north of Adelaide CBD, Gawler is the gateway to the beautiful Barossa region. Current Doctors have said they enjoy the drive out of the CBD as they travel against all the traffic heading into the city. The town offers excellent facilities, including a local hospital, a mix of public and private schools, and a vibrant community lifestyle. With rapid growth and new subdivisions, Gawler is attracting many young families, offering a perfect blend of town and country living.

Regular clinical lunch meetings are held for open discussion and support and quite often Doctors will share complex cases. There are regular Doctors’ lunch meetings off site, to catch up with each other out of the clinical setting. Regular full practice meetings are held during the day. Everyone in the clinic is encouraged to have a voice at these meetings.

We have 3-4 nurses per day to support patient care with additional study in Diabetic Education, Graduate Certificate in Primary Health Care (Child and Family Health Nursing) and Graduate Diploma of Gerontology and Continence.
