The Corporate Relations Division (CRD) of ECC was established in 1985 to meet the language education needs of the corporate and academic sectors.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
The Native Coordinator position provides training and support for our part-time teachers, equipping them with general teaching skills and specific skills needed to satisfy our corporate and academic clients. You will be required to be a member of a team of native English and Japanese support staff.
Support and training will be provided for the successful applicant.
This position will help develop your critical thinking and presentation skills.
We need someone as soon as possible to finish the remainder of this year. We will consider this a part-time opportunity to fit the right person. However, this will be a one-year full-time renewable contract from April 2027.
TIME:
Days: Monday to Friday (some Saturdays)
Hours: between 8:00-20:00 (7 hours per day/35 hours per week)
Holidays: National Holidays, Company Holidays, and Paid days off will be approximately 7 weeks (Paid days off are added based on number of years employed).
PAYMENT:
Base Pay: 280,300 yen per month for a 35 hour per week schedule
Monthly Stipend: 10,000 yen per month (increases based on performance and time)
Performance Bonus: Increases based on number of years employed.
1st year = 3,483,600 - 3,583,600 yen (Gross, based on performance)
2nd year = 3,603,600 - 3,743,600 yen (Gross, based on performance)
Enrollment in the social and employment insurance programs (Shakai Hoken) is included with this position.
DUTIES:
-Training new and current teachers
-Teaching a regular shift
-Provide teacher support and liaise between teachers, ECC, and clients
-Observing lessons and maintaining performance records
-Substitute teaching
-Curriculum development
-Personnel duties
DESIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:
-Professional, well-developed organization, and communication skills
-Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently
-Adaptability
-Practical knowledge of teaching methodologies
-Certificate for teaching English as a foreign language (preferred)
-Desire for further professional development as an educator
-Familiar with Microsoft Office programs, as well as Google Meets and Zoom
