This role is responsible for maintaining the safety of the US embassy, including assisting visitors and providing close protection for embassy staff.

Body checks at the security gate
Screening visitors’ belongings with a metal detector
Verifying identification and appointment details
Baggage inspection and vehicle inspection
Patrols, access control, and incident response

EU Embassy (Minato-ku, Tokyo)

8:00–20:00
8:30–20:30
20:00–8:00 the following day
20:30–8:30 the following day
13:00–1:00 the following day

Variable working hours system on a monthly basis

2~3 days off per week (shift system, 8–9 days off per month)
[Salary]
Hourly wage: JPY 1,300–1,625
Salary will be determined based on experience and ability
The above is the minimum rate, and higher hourly pay may be offered depending on security industry experience and other qualifications
[Qualifications / Experience]
Must be 18 years of age or older (in accordance with the Security Business Act)
Must be able to communicate sufficiently in both Japanese and English
No certification is required
Security experience of 2 years or more

Car and motorcycle commuting allowed only for shifts ending late at night (parking available)
If no train service is available at the end of a shift, taxi fare for the return trip will be reimbursed at actual cost
