Senior Software Engineer – Full Remote (France) or Hybrid

Voyage Privé, Europe's leading travel tech platform founded in 2006, seeks a Senior Software Engineer for a full-time permanent role. Based in Aix en Provence, France, the position offers full remote work for selected digital roles or hybrid (3 mandatory on-site days per week + 4 fully remote weeks annually). Your Mission: Design, build and operate software systems powering high-traffic, business-critical travel experiences. Own systems end-to-end and contribute directly to measurable business and customer impact. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, test and deploy reliable, scalable software in high-traffic environments with AI-first capabilities - Take full responsibility for design, implementation, deployment and production operations - Participate in on-call rotations and incident resolution - Design robust, scalable architectures with strong understanding of performance, cost, scalability and security trade-offs - Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Data and Business stakeholders - Uphold high standards in code quality, testing, documentation and knowledge sharing Required Qualifications: - Strong software engineering fundamentals in at least one modern programming language - Experience building and operating production systems - Solid understanding of APIs, distributed systems and integrations - Awareness of performance, scalability and security best practices - Comfort with testing, version control and CI/CD practices - Product-oriented mindset and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions - Strong ownership, autonomy and collaboration skills - Fluent English and French communication Company Benefits: Modern eco-responsible campus in South of France, on-site fitness center, padel court, company breaks, carnival events, annual convention, up to 20% discount on exclusive getaway offers, free Provence Rugby match tickets and access to live music events.
