**Project Managers**

The WSP **Napier business** has exciting opportunities for experienced **Project Managers** to lead a range of civil engineering projects. The role involves delivering high-quality consulting services that exceed client expectations, while working closely with clients, project teams, and stakeholders. You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Manage projects to ensure deliverables meet all client needs, both stated and unstated.

+ Plan and scope projects effectively, defining inputs, outputs, and verification steps.

+ Prepare key project documents, including briefs, RFPs, OOS, and fee estimates.

+ Maintain up-to-date project plans throughout delivery.

+ Communicate regularly with clients and other Project Managers to confirm expectations are met.

+ Lead or support project teams to deliver work on time, within budget, and to the required quality.

+ Ensure projects achieve targeted profitability.

+ Seek client and team feedback and apply continuous learning.

+ Produce high-quality technical documents with strong attention to detail.

+ Prepare, review, and implement contract and tender documentation (specifications, schedules, estimates).

+ Ensure all work complies with professional standards and WSP's OurWay requirements.

+ Identify, assess, and manage project risks.

+ Build strong relationships across project teams to support investigation and design activities.

+ Build a strong professional profile with clients and the wider infrastructure community.

+ Deliver excellent service to encourage repeat and sole-source work.

+ Understand WSP's full service offering and promote company-wide services.

+ Act as a Client Relationship representative when required.

**About You**

+ Relevant qualification in civil engineering or related discipline.

+ Minimum 5 years' professional experience in Transportation, Water or Civil Engineering, including client facing project management experience.

+ Extensive experience working with and a demonstrated understanding of NZS3910.

+ Current clean Full Drivers Licence.

+ Strong knowledge of design codes, standards, legislation, and practices.

+ Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise conflicting demands.

+ Client-centric approach and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

+ Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.
