We currently have two wonderful foreign teachers on our team, and our Japanese staff are incredibly welcoming and collaborative. While Japanese language skills are not required, our English-friendly environment ensures a smooth and supportive transition. About the Classes: • Target Age: 3 to 6 years old ( Preschool / Kindergarten) • Class Size: Up to 20 students per class, always managed alongside a Japanese co-teacher. Core Responsibilities: • Collaborative Class Management Work closely with your Japanese co-teacher as an equal partner to manage the classroom and support student growth. • IB PYP Curriculum Design and implement lesson plans based on IB PYP principles, facilitating student-led inquiry and agency. • Pursuit of Excellence Leverage your professional expertise to create an optimal learning environment tailored to each child's unique needs. • Team Teaching Beyond English-led activities, actively participate in all aspects of daily school life, contributing to a cohesive and supportive school community. Requirements & Qualifications [Requirements] • Residing in Japan, English Native-level. • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field. • Passion for Education: A genuine love for working with young children and a strong interest in inquiry-based learning. • Team Player: A highly collaborative mindset with a willingness to work closely with Japanese co-teachers and staff. [Preferred Ability] • IB Experience: Previous experience or training in the IB PYP curriculum (If you don't have experience, a strong willingness to learn is perfectly fine!). • Teaching Certification: An Early Childhood or a teaching license from your home country a TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate will be a plus. • Experience with Kids: Prior experience teaching kindergarten or preschool-aged children. • Japanese Language: Conversational (Preferred) Work Hours & Holidays: • Shift Work: 8 hours of work (9-hour total onsite) - scheduled from 8:00 to 17:00. • Days Off: Saturdays, Sundays, and National Holidays. • Extended Vacations: - Summer Break: Obon holiday. (Approx. 1 week) - Winter Break: Year-end and New Year period(About 7days) Salary & Benefits: • Monthly Salary: ¥250,000 – ¥300,000 (Teaching experience in a PYP school will be taken into consideration). • Expected Annual Salary: ¥4.0 – 4.9 million (including bonuses and allowances) *Actual total annual salary may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and performance-based bonuses. • Annual Bonus: Equivalent to 4 months of base salary • Performance-based allowance. • Housing Allowance: Covers 30% of your rent (up to ¥30,000/month) • Relocation Support: Moving expenses are negotiable for candidates relocating from afar—we are happy to support your move! • Commuting Expenses: Reimbursed depending on where you reside (up to ¥15,000/month). • Social Insurance: Fully comprehensive social insurance (Shakai Hoken), including health insurance, pension, employment insurance, and workers' compensation. • Visa Support: For successful candidates currently residing in Japan, we will provide the necessary documents and support for visa renewal or change of status. *Please note: Applicants are responsible for handling the actual application process at Immigration and covering the associated fees. *Probationary Period: 3 months No change in compensation during this period Application & Hiring Process: • Resume Screening: Please submit your resume and a motivation letter. ↓ • First Interview (Online): A casual interview to get to know you and discuss the role. ↓ • Second Interview & Demo Lesson (In-person): A chance to showcase your teaching style (details will be provided in advance). ↓ • Job Offer •IB training will be provided.
