Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of children subject to Child Protection Plans, Child in Need Plans, and court proceedings
Undertake Section 47 investigations and risk assessments
Develop and implement child-centred care and protection plans
Prepare reports for court, conferences, and statutory reviews
Attend and contribute to strategy meetings, core groups, and child protection conferences
Work in partnership with multi-agency professionals including health, education, and police
Maintain accurate and timely case recordings in line with statutory requirements
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
Experience within Safeguarding, Child Protection, or Assessment teams
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory guidance
Ability to manage complex cases and make sound professional decisions
Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills
