About The Role
This is a founding engineering role at an early-stage AI fintech company building intelligent automation for private market operations — think fund accounting, reconciliation, and reporting workflows. You'll work directly alongside the founding team and early design partners to shape both the product and the company itself, with a clear path to engineering leadership.

Salary range: €70,000 – €110,000 per year. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

You'll work directly alongside the founding team and early design partners to shape both the product and the company itself, with a clear path to engineering leadership.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain core platform components, including AI agents that capture data from inboxes, web portals, and connected sources.
- Design and implement production-grade backend APIs and services that power end-to-end financial operations workflows.
- Develop and operate LLM-based and agentic systems that automate reconciliation, data extraction, and journal entry generation.
- Collaborate directly with customers and design partners to gather requirements, define the product roadmap, and communicate trade-offs.
- Contribute to hiring and help attract exceptional engineering talent as the team grows.
- 1–3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with large language models and agentic/autonomous systems in production environments.
- Strong backend development skills, including building and maintaining production-grade APIs and services.
- Experience building or operating AI-native operations infrastructure (e.g., for accounting, reconciliation, or treasury).
- Domain knowledge in private markets fund accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and treasury processes.
- Comfort with ambiguity and high ownership in a small, fast-moving founding team.
- Experience working directly with customers or design partners to shape product direction.
- Eligible to work in Germany (visa sponsorship available); based in or willing to relocate to Berlin.
