Job Location:Laramie, WY

Schedule:Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM (Full Time)

Pay:$25.00-$40.00

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting an Engineering Technician for a respected client that is developing a new generation of sustainable coffee-roasting technology equipment. As the company grows, this role has the potential to evolve into a Chief Technology Officer for the right candidate. What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience with industrial equipment, fabrication, or mechanical systems
• Proficiency with CAD software (or similar tools)
• Strong problem-solving skills, especially in prototype environments
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Experience or interest in:
• Metal fabrication
• AC/DC electronics
• Electronic controls
• Gearmotors and augers
• Data collection
• Project management
• Mechanical engineering degree helpful butnot required

What You’ll Do

• Use 3D CAD and 2D design software to create plans and drawings for machinery
• Collaborate with in-house and third-party metal fabricators
• Source and order components such as generators, electronic parts, filters, and mechanical hardware
• Work with electrical engineers—both domestic and international—to design and build control systems
• Troubleshoot issues during assembly and develop practical solutions
• Support prototype development, testing, and continuous improvement
• Manage projects and maintain organized workflows with minimal supervision
• Communicate with a wide range of partners, including international collaborators
