Job Description
Anesthesiologist – Critical Care TrainedJackson, Michigan | Level II Trauma Center | H1B & J1 Visa Accepted | No LocumsPosition Overview:Join a growing ICU and anesthesia team at a Level II Trauma Center in Jackson, MI, with a dynamic role that balances ICU and OR responsibilities, mentorship, and high-acuity care. - ICU Coverage:
- 8–12 weeks/year in the CVICU
- Home call during ICU weeks
- Oversee APP team managing high-acuity post-op patients (e.g., cardiac surgery, major vascular, TAVR)
- Anesthesia Coverage:
- General OR
- OB anesthesia
- Healthy peds cases
- Shared OR call proportionate to ICU rotation
- Additional Duties:
- Participate in protocol development and multidisciplinary rounds
- Mentor residents and APPs
- Use Epic EMRCandidate Requirements:
- Must be Fellowship Trained in Critical Care
- Board Certified/Board Eligible (no lapsed certification)
- Must be available to start ASAP
- Must live within 1 hour of Jackson (no long commutes or dual jobs)
- Not accepting locums, part-time, or alternative schedules
- Visa candidates accepted – H1B and J1
