Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our supportive multidisciplinary team in Palmerston North. This role can be full-time or part-time, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

We’re ideally seeking someone with strong experience in persistent pain management and neurological rehabilitation, who is confident managing complex presentations and enjoys contributing to clinical excellence within a team.

About the Role

As a Senior MSK Physiotherapist, you’ll deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services within our clinic and, where appropriate, community settings. You’ll manage a varied and engaging caseload, with a particular focus on complex MSK conditions, pain presentations, and clients with neurological considerations.

You’ll work autonomously while being well supported by experienced clinicians, service leads, and our fantastic administrative team. There is also an opportunity to mentor junior physiotherapists and contribute to service development and quality initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of MSK conditions, including persistent pain and complex cases
• Developing tailored, goal-focused rehabilitation programmes
• Supporting clients with neurological considerations as part of holistic rehabilitation planning
• Utilising Heidi, our AI clinical documentation assistant, to produce high-quality notes and reports efficiently
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care
• Participating in case conferences, IDT meetings, and service reviews
• Providing mentorship and clinical guidance to our junior Physiotherapists
• Contributing to service leadership, quality improvement, and ongoing clinical development

About You

• NZ-recognised Physiotherapy qualification
• Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand and APC
• Strong clinical reasoning skills, particularly in MSK, pain, and neurological rehabilitation
• Confident managing complex or chronic presentations
• Excellent communication skills and professional integrity
• Ability to work independently while positively contributing to a team
• Full NZ driver’s licence
