As of April 1, 2026, 307 students, from 2 years old through middle school, attended the school. CGK is planning to open a high school in 2028. [Position Overview] We welcome applications from Language Teachers for our Middle School language classes. Help students enjoy learning a language and develop understanding of other cultures. Current Middle School language classes - Spanish - German We are especially looking for German teachers. Applications from teachers of other languages are also welcome. Please tell us which language or languages you can teach, the age groups you have taught, and your availability. This vacancy is separate from our English-medium IB homeroom and subject-teaching roles. Japanese Language and Literature teachers are not being recruited through this advertisement. [Key Responsibilities] - Prepare and deliver lessons in your specialist language. - Adapt learning activities and materials to students' ages, proficiency and interests. - Assess and document students' learning and progress. - Encourage students to communicate confidently and respectfully. - Develop students' understanding of cultures associated with the language. - Collaborate with the teaching team and communicate relevant learning information. - Maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment. [Qualifications] - Conversational English proficiency or higher is required for communication and collaboration. - Ability to teach your specialist language and communicate effectively with learners. - Please describe your language proficiency, relevant qualifications and teaching experience. - Experience teaching school-aged children and an inquiry-based approach are welcome. - Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
