Full-time Native English Teacher for Kindergarten & Elementary School【Visa Sponsorship Available】

Takaha Kindergarten has a proud history spanning 89 years and has been dedicated to early childhood education in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. Our educational corporation operates several institutions, including Takaha Kindergarten (Nada Ward), Takaha Mikatadai Kindergarten (Nishi Ward), Takaha Rokko Island Elementary School (Higashinada Ward), Takaha Nishiokamoto Nursery School (Higashinada Ward), and Takaha Children's Center (Nada Ward). Together, these facilities provide a continuous educational environment from infancy through elementary school. Our educational philosophy is to help children develop the ability to understand and consider the feelings and perspectives of others. We are currently seeking a Native English Teacher who is passionate about working with young learners. In addition to teaching English lessons, you will work closely with our Japanese teaching staff to support childcare activities, participate in school events, and create a fun and engaging English-learning environment for children. You will also teach after-school English classes using the GrapeSEED curriculum, a well-established English program designed specifically for young learners. The teaching methods are clearly structured, making it easy for new instructors to learn and teach with confidence. --------------------------------------------------------------- Job Responsibilities English Lessons Takaha Kindergarten (Children aged 1-5) ・Regular English lessons (approximately once per week) ・After-school English lessons (approximately three times per week) Elementary School Students ・Group English lessons *Each class consists of approximately 20 students. Other Responsibilities ・Teaching at other facilities operated by our educational corporation ・Preparing and conducting lessons ・Supporting arts and crafts activities ・Assisting children during lunchtime ・Supporting Japanese nursery teachers with childcare activities ・Assisting with the preparation and operation of school events such as Sports Day, school performances, and graduation ceremonies --------------------------------------------------------------- Teaching Method & Training We use the GrapeSEED English language program for our English curriculum. Previous teaching experience is not required, although experience with the GrapeSEED method is highly welcomed. Comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided, allowing you to develop your teaching skills while gaining confidence as an English instructor. --------------------------------------------------------------- Working Hours Variable Working Hours System ・Monday to Friday (in principle) ・Shift schedule between 7am and 7pm. *8 to 8.5 working hours per day with a 1-hour break Requests for fixed shifts may be considered upon consultation. Preparation for lessons, school events, and related duties is included in working hours. We will prepare the employer documents required for visa renewal or change of residence status.
