Cycling Tour Guide & Bike Mechanic

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Cycling Tour Guide & Bike Mechanic to join our team. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cycling experiences to guests while ensuring all bikes are safe, well-maintained, and road-ready. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and design detailed itineraries for cycling tours, including routes, rest stops, accommodation, and points of interest - Lead day tours in Tokyo and the surrounding prefectures, providing guests with engaging local knowledge and a safe riding experience - Accompany multi-day cycling tours (10–14 days) as both a guide and on-road bike mechanic, supporting riders throughout the entire journey - Perform routine and on-the-spot maintenance and repairs on tour bikes, including gear adjustments, brake tuning, tire changes, and general troubleshooting - Carry out regular bike inspections and upkeep to ensure the fleet remains in excellent working condition Requirements: - Proven experience as a cycling guide and/or bike mechanic - Strong knowledge of cycling routes in Tokyo and surrounding prefectures - Ability to handle multi-day tours with stamina and professionalism - Solid bike mechanical skills with the ability to diagnose and fix issues in the field - Good communication skills and a passion for sharing the joy of cycling with others - Valid driver's license (for support vehicle driving during tours) preferred
