Linden Hall is a Japanese school approved by MEXT. Linden Hall School's middle and high school divisions, as with the elementary school, employ an "English immersion education" system and offer an IBDP programme in English.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Middle School Science (and Math if possible) Teacher for the Academic Year 2026/2027. This position offers an exciting opportunity to teach middle school students helping them develop critical thinking skills and a strong foundation in science (and math). We are looking for teachers willing to join as soon as possible, preferably qualified teachers currently living in Japan.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Science, Mathematics, or related field (minimum requirement)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience at the middle school level preferred
- Strong knowledge of IB and KS3 science and math curricula and standards
- Ability to design engaging lesson plans that meet diverse student needs
- Effective classroom management skills with a focus on creating an inclusive learning environment
- Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with integrating technology into teaching practices

Working conditions:
-Working hours are from 8:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday (8 hours per day,
40 hours per week)
-Holidays
Saturdays, Sundays and National holidays as defined by law
Year-end and New Year holidays (December 29 to January 3)
Other days designated by the school
*During student vacation periods (summer (late Jul - end Aug), winter (late Dec - early Jan), spring (late Mar)), attendance is not required in principle, except for days
separately designated by the school and unless work is assigned.
-Annual Paid Leave
Ten (10) days will be granted after six (6) months from the date of employment.
-Accommodation
No housing allowance is provided, however, a private room in the student dormitory (within a 10-minute walk from the school) can be offered free of charge to those living alone; meals are not included.
