Package: CN¥1,100,000 - CN¥1,260,000 total annual package

Equivalent: US$160,139 - US$183,433

About the business

Our client is a high-growth premium tea beverage brand with ambitious plans to expand across Asia Pacific.

Operating a store-led, multi-site model, the business is now entering a key phase of regional growth through franchise expansion, joint ventures, and new market entry.


The opportunity

This is a senior role within the Property / Expansion function, reporting to the APAC Business Development Director.

The successful candidate will lead the identification, evaluation, negotiation, and onboarding of JV partners, master franchisees, and strategic operators across APAC.


This role combines:

  • Franchise development
  • JV / partner acquisition
  • Market entry strategy
  • Real estate and network planning


Who they are looking for

You will likely bring:

  • 8-10+ years' experience in franchise development, expansion, partnerships, or market entry
  • A background in food & beverage, retail, or hospitality
  • Proven experience delivering multi-market APAC growth
  • Strong experience with JV partners, franchisees, or master franchise operators
  • Understanding of property, real estate planning, network development, and store rollout
  • Strong commercial judgement, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on level


Relevant backgrounds may include brands similar to:

KFC, McDonald's, Burger King, Starbucks, Costa, or other large multi-site consumer businesses.

Experience across Singapore, China, South East Asia, ANZ, UAE, Myanmar, or Cambodia would be of interest.


Key responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end partner acquisition across APAC
  • Identify and secure high-quality franchisees, JV partners, and strategic investors
  • Support market entry strategy and regional expansion planning
  • Conduct feasibility studies, investment analysis, and competitive benchmarking
  • Help shape store network planning and real estate strategy
  • Work cross-functionally to drive successful market launches and partner performance
  • Report on pipeline progress, market performance, and expansion metrics
