The Clinic
This family-owned small animal clinic in Pakenham is a busy, growing practice with a focus on providing high-quality care for pets and their families with ample onsite parking.

• Operates Monday to Saturday, 9am - 5:30pm
• Led by an experienced Business Manager
• Spacious reception and waiting area
• Two consult rooms and a sterile operating theatre
• Digital X-ray, dental X-ray, and full in-house pathology
• Regular visits from medical and surgical specialists
• Close collaboration with nearby hospitals for referrals and overnight care
• The clinic is in a development phase, offering the incoming veterinarian the opportunity to make the role their own and contribute to clinic growth.

The Role
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious veterinarian who can balance hands-on clinical work with leadership and clinic management support.
Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering exceptional GP medicine, consults, surgeries, dental, diagnostics, and emergency care
• Being the go-to expert , guiding case management, coaching best practice, and keeping clinical knowledge current
• Strengthening client relationships, ensuring every pet owner feels informed, confident, and supported
• Mentoring the team , including vets, nurses, and potential students, while fostering a positive, engaged clinic culture
• Supporting clinic operations, assisting with P&L, budgets, stock management, rostering, and performance goals

About You

• Veterinary degree
• 5+ years' experience as a veterinarian

• Passionate about delivering high-quality veterinary care
