Ngā Kōrero mo tēnei tūranga / About the role

This role sits within the AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) and exists to enable secure, scalable, and value-driven AI capability across PwC New Zealand. The team’s purpose is to connect PwC NZ with the global PwC Network AI Factory and strategic technology partners, while ensuring AI platforms are effectively landed, governed, supported, and optimized for use across the firm. The role also oversees vendor relationships, platform operations, compliance and adoption reporting to ensure AI solutions deliver measurable value.

Your day-to-day could include:

  • Managing PwC network and vendor relationships

  • Overseeing AI platform operations

  • Coordinating the import and go-live of AI Solutions

  • Ensuring compliance and governance

  • Monitoring adoption, performance and value

  • Maintaining documentation and artefacts

Essential

  • 3+ years in platform operations, service management, vendor management or product operations

  • Experience working with enterprise SaaS platforms and licences

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and clear written and verbal communication

  • Experience coordinating security, privacy and responsible controls for go live

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar for tracking work and change

  • Financial management of technology portfolios, benefits tracking and FinOps in programme settings

Desirable

  • Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Harvey platforms

  • Knowledge of responsible AI evaluations, privacy impact assessments and security reviews

  • Exposure to FinOps and licence optimisation

  • Professional services experience or other complex multi stakeholder environments
