The Opportunity
As a Systems Engineer on Superhuman's Corporate Infrastructure team, you will design and lead the automation, security, and scalability of our company’s identity and endpoint management platforms. You’ll help architect, implement, and evolve the core systems responsible for identity lifecycle, secure device posture, automation, and compliance—foundations that empower every Superhuman employee to work securely and efficiently at scale.
Unlike traditional Help Desk roles, this is a high-impact, engineering-focused position dedicated to building and automating the underlying platforms and tools for identity & access management and device fleet operations. Your work will span areas such as endpoint provisioning, zero-touch deployment, compliance automation, and security policy enforcement.
You will collaborate closely with other engineers, security, IT, and business partners to deliver systems and self-service capabilities that enable seamless and secure productivity across macOS, Windows, and mobile devices.

Compensation Range: €115K - €145K

In this role, you will
- Architect and lead the development of scalable systems for identity lifecycle management, device fleet provisioning, compliance hardening, and endpoint automation.
- Design and implement solutions that ensure identity and device access is secure, manageable, and automated across a rapidly scaling organization.
- Build automation around Okta, Jamf Pro, Workspace ONE, and underlying platforms using Python, PowerShell, bash, and Git.
- Lead migration and platform consolidation efforts (e.g., UEM platform moves, IdP cutovers, M&A integrations) to streamline integration and reduce operational complexity.
- Automate joiner-mover-leaver workflows to automate employee lifecycle workflows.
- Develop self-service and reliability tooling that reduces manual operational work and empowers end users and internal teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (security, IT, engineering, finance) to design access policies, implement compliance controls, and integrate device trust with identity frameworks.
- Mentor team members, set technical direction, and help define the charter and short- and long-term roadmaps of the Corporate Infrastructure team.
- Experience architecting and operating large-scale identity and endpoint management solutions across macOS, Windows, and mobile platforms.
- Expertise in enterprise identity tools (Okta, SSO, SCIM), endpoint management (Jamf, Workspace ONE, Intune), and automation (Python, PowerShell, bash, Git).
- Proven ability to design and implement device compliance and access security controls (CIS benchmarks, device-trust enforcement, zero-touch deployment).
- Strong knowledge of IT automation, infrastructure-as-code, and building tooling to streamline onboarding, provisioning, and compliance at scale.
- Demonstrated record of working with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strategic thinker with experience migrating platforms, merging device fleets, and automating complex workflows.
- Excellent collaborator and communicator, comfortable working with cross-functional teams and end users.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
