Join Five9, a leading provider of cloud contact center software, as a Senior DevOps Engineer on the Cloud Operations team. You will design, build, and maintain public and private cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS) with focus on reliability, scalability, and developer productivity. Build internal developer tooling in Go and Python to accelerate engineering workflows. Drive automation initiatives, monitor production environments, and contribute to incident response and SRE practices. Collaborate with Engineering teams on architecture and implementation decisions. Help define the platform engineering roadmap as Five9 scales. Requirements: 8+ years SDLC experience (preferably Agile/Scrum), 5+ years public cloud experience (GCP or AWS), 3+ years systems and networking experience. Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, GKE, Docker, ArgoCD, and GitOps workflows. Experience designing large-scale distributed systems. Proficiency in Python and/or scripting languages; Go experience is a strong plus. Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CI/CD tooling (GitLab, Jenkins, Spinnaker), config management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). Familiarity with Incident Management and SRE best practices. BS in Computer Science or equivalent. SIP telephony experience (Freeswitch, Asterisk, Kamailio, WebRTC) is a plus. Work Location: Fully remote for candidates outside 50-mile radius of San Ramon office. Hybrid (3 days/week M, W, TH in-office) for candidates within 50 miles. Compensation: $90,000–$250,300 USD base salary, plus annual performance bonus, stock, and incentive compensation.
