Data Center Engineer

As a Data Center Engineer, you'll take ownership of the physical infrastructure powering a global, ultra-low-latency environment, working with cutting-edge hardware across international data centers and colocations.

This is a highly hands-on role where you'll have a direct impact on the reliability, scalability, and performance of systems operating at the forefront of financial technology.

What You'll Be Working On

• Deploying and maintaining high-performance servers, network switches, and infrastructure appliances across global data center environments.
• Supporting large-scale infrastructure expansions, hardware refreshes, migrations, and new site buildouts.
• Managing power, rack space, capacity planning, and hardware lifecycle management.
• Troubleshooting critical hardware and connectivity issues to ensure maximum uptime.
• Collaborating with infrastructure, networking, and systems engineering teams to continuously improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinating global deployments with remote hands teams and managing equipment logistics.

What We're Looking For

• Experience working in enterprise-scale or mission-critical data center environments.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, including CPUs, memory, storage, RAID controllers, NICs, and power systems.
• Familiarity with networking infrastructure such as switches, chassis platforms, line cards, and optical technologies including SFP and QSFP transceivers.
• Hands-on experience with copper and fiber cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, multimode and single-mode fiber).
• Experience troubleshooting physical infrastructure and using cable testing and diagnostic tools.
• Basic Linux administration and server deployment experience.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and a passion for operational excellence.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where reliability and precision matter.
