We are looking for a talented **Procurement and Supply Continuity Analyst (m/w/d)** to join our team specializing in **Purchasing** for **Fuel CellDepartment** in **Herten, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.** This position is **hybrid** , with **80% on-site in Herten** and **20% remote** .
**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:**
+ Execute material buying strategies that align with forecasted demand, ensuring suppliers are prepared with the capacity needed to support production and minimize supply disruptions.
+ Strengthen supplier performance by collaborating with sourcing teams to drive continuous process improvements while maintaining high standards for quality, cost, and delivery.
+ Analyze procurement initiatives and operational processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, cost optimization, and stronger supplier outcomes.
+ Prepare and present data-driven recommendations and alternative solutions to senior Procurement leadership to support informed strategic decision-making.
+ Act as a key communication bridge between manufacturing sites and suppliers, ensuring alignment on expectations, timelines, and issue resolution.
+ Monitor supplier performance metrics by collecting and validating scorecard data to support performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Provide delivery and expediting support to manufacturing plants during supplier disruptions, helping maintain continuity of supply and operational stability.
+ Support the implementation of engineering releases and system updates by coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and compliance with procurement policies.
**Qualifications**
**Education/ Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
+ Early-career experience or exposure to procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing environments is beneficial but not strictly required.
+ Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
+ German language skills are a plus.
+ Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle and familiarity with project or stakeholder management practices is considered an advantage.
