Our client is Urgently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Berlin. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-quality commercial developments within a dynamic and internationally focused environment.

The Opportunity

Due to continued project demand, our client is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor at short notice, with an ideal start date in May or June 2026. The role offers exposure to a strong pipeline of office, retail, and mid-scale commercial developments across Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cost management activities across multiple projects
• Prepare cost plans, budgets, and financial reports
• Manage procurement processes and contract administration
• Provide commercial guidance to clients and project teams
• Ensure projects are delivered within budget and to high standards

Candidate Profile

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a closely related discipline
• Proven experience in office, retail, or similar commercial projects
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
• Excellent communication skills in English (essential)
• German language skills are advantageous but not required

Important Note on Experience

This role is focused on building projects of a smaller to mid-scale nature.

Candidates with backgrounds primarily in heavy civil engineering, infrastructure, or large-scale construction (e.g. major infrastructure or datacentres) are unlikely to be a fit for this position.

Location & Mobility

• Candidates based in Germany or Europe are preferred for quicker onboarding
• Visa sponsorship can be considered for exceptional candidates
• Potential for remote working initially, followed by relocation to Berlin
