Electrician or Electrical Supervisor - Commercial & Industrial Projects (Queenstown) Hays Recruitment is partnering with a well-established electrical company based in Queenstown that is expanding its team. Specialising in commercial electrical projects, the company is now also taking on industrial work and is seeking either a Registered Electrician or an Electrical Supervisor, depending on experience.

The Role:Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in commercial and industrial environments.Work may include commercial and industrial control systems – experience in controls will be advantageous.Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and safety standards.Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.Collaborate with team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Supervisor Duties:Oversee and coordinate electrical projects and site activities.Lead and support a team of electricians to ensure quality and safety standards are met.Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.Assist with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements:Must be EWRB registered.Must have valid work rights in New Zealand.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work is preferred.Previous leadership or supervisory experience is desirable for the supervisor role.
