The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Transportation Dangerous Goods Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact:
- Monitoring and ensuring the transportation of dangerous goods is compliance with Local, Regional and International Transportation Regulations:
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulation and Act, Canada
- Hazardous Materials Regulation of the Department of Transportation, 49 CFR
- IATA, International Air Transport Agency
- IMDG, International Maritime of Dangerous Goods
- Working with product stewardship teams to support alternate material selection
- Creating, developing, and publishing training programs
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND three (3) years of combined product stewardship, regulatory affairs, logistics, and/or EHS experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in public health, toxicology, regulatory, science, medical field from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years product stewardship, regulatory affairs, clinical studies in a private, public, government or military environment
- IATA certification
- Strong project management skills, PM certification
- Regulatory affairs, scientific affairs, or business experience with Global Regulations
- Ability to work effectively in cross functional, global teams
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Medical device company knowledge
Work location:
- Remote - Canada
Travel: May include up to 20% domestic/international

The expected compensation range for this position is $96,197 - $119,377 CAD, which reflects the anticipated base salary for this role. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as a candidate’s experience, skills, training, and work location, in alignment with Canadian pay equity and pay transparency requirements. This role may also be eligible for additional compensation components (e.g., incentive programs) and a comprehensive suite of benefits available to employees in Canada.
