AI-Native Cloud Infrastructure Generalist

Shopware is a leading ecommerce system enabling companies worldwide to scale efficiently in digital commerce. Join the Agentic Commerce Lab, a startup-like team within the scale-up, exploring how agentic systems will shape commerce by 2030. You will build new products, run fast experiments, and drive ideas from inception to production with end-to-end ownership. This role can be filled on-site, hybrid, or fully remote within Germany or specific European countries where Shopware is registered. Key responsibilities: build cloud infrastructure for AI workloads, enable developer velocity so engineers can ship new AI features without infrastructure bottlenecks, monitor emerging infrastructure patterns, create flexible systems supporting AI experiments, and balance reliability with infrastructure costs as usage scales. You will push the edge of what is possible with latest AI developments, ship fast with permission to iterate in public, and track new infrastructure patterns for AI workloads. Required competencies: bias to action preferring prototypes over presentations, self-starter DNA thriving in ambiguity, AI native defaulting to 10x yourself with AI, hands-on experience with modern AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, v0, Lovable), product mindset focusing on outcomes, collaborative spirit, full-stack infrastructure skills (IaC, Kubernetes, serverless, databases, networking, pipelines, observability), pragmatic perfectionism, cloud cost optimization, and AI workload experience (vector databases, model serving, inference optimization, GPU provisioning).
