Job Description: This position involves working as a tour guide for foreign visitors to Japan. Most of our guests are from Europe, and we are currently looking for candidates who can speak German, French, or Portuguese. You will be expected to fluently introduce and explain Japan’s culture, traditions, and way of life. The main duty is tour guiding, and depending on the number of guests, you may work together with other guides. Tours will travel to various sightseeing spots across Japan using tour buses, Shinkansen (bullet trains), and ships. You will be responsible for providing explanations at tourist sites and communicating with guests. We are also recruiting land operators (experienced candidates only). ⸻ Highlights: Our team includes not only Japanese staff but also international members. As this is a newly established company, we have an open and communicative environment where it’s easy to share your opinions and ideas with colleagues and supervisors. ⸻ Preferred Qualifications: • Must be able to communicate fluently. • Previous experience as a tour guide is highly welcome. • Training is available for those with no prior experience. ⸻ Working Hours & Schedule: • Freelance / Outsourced contract. • Each tour usually lasts 1 to 2 weeks. • Working hours vary depending on the tour schedule. ⸻ Holidays: Since this is a freelance contract, there are no fixed holidays. ⸻ Work Location: You will travel with guests to various destinations throughout Japan (mainly between the Kanto and Kansai regions). ⸻ Compensation: • Daily rate: 20,000 yen or more (excluding training). • The exact rate will be determined based on your experience and skills. ⸻ Other Information: • Remote interviews available. • Start date negotiable. • Applicants who can participate in two or more tours per month are especially welcome. ⸻ Employment Type: Freelance / Outsourcing ⸻ Tags: Flexible shifts, Immediate start OK, Urgent recruitment Those with tour guide experience in Russian or English are highly welcomed.
