NEPEAN Belting is seeking an experienced Belting Services Coordinator to represent our service operations across the Mackay & Bowen basin region. This role is ideal for a motivated conveyor belting professional who thrives in a customer-facing leadership position and wants to play a key role in supporting and growing a high-performing field service team.
As the primary point of contact for our customers, you will coordinate belting service activities, manage field crews, and ensure our clients receive safe, responsive and high-quality support for conveyor belt installations, repairs, maintenance and breakdowns.
- This is a hands-on leadership role combining customer relationship management, operational coordination, and business growth.
- Relocation assistance and support is available for those willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities
Customer & Service Delivery
- Act as the primary customer contact for belting services across your designated region
- Coordinate personnel, equipment and materials for conveyor belt installation, removal, repair and maintenance
- Provide prompt response to breakdowns and customer concerns
- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure issues are resolved effectively
- Provide after-hours support coordination when required
Operational Coordination
- Schedule and manage field service teams across multiple projects
- Prepare and manage customer quotations and service proposals
- Process orders and manage project documentation through the ERP system
- Participate in internal operational and planning meetings
- Ensure all work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with company standards
Team Leadership
- Supervise and support 1–12 field service personnel
- Assist with recruitment, selection. training and development of team members
- Participate in performance reviews and career development planning
- Promote a strong safety culture and high-performance environment
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all activities align with NEPEAN WHSE systems and procedures
- Identify, report and mitigate hazards and incidents
- Maintain a safe working environment for all personnel
Business Growth
- Identify and pursue new service and product opportunities within your region
- Support growth in:
- Belt cleaner products
- New and refurbished belting supply
- Aftermarket services
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring both technical conveyor belting experience and strong coordination/leadership capability.
Essential:
- Certificate III in Polymer Processing or a relevant Mechanical Trade
- Minimum 5 years post-trade experience in conveyor belting
- Minimum 5 years underground black coal experience
- Strong understanding of conveyor belt installation, repair and maintenance
- Current C Class Driver Licence
Highly regarded:
- Experience coordinating field service teams
- Experience preparing quotations and managing customer relationships
- Knowledge of PRONTO ERP or similar systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across remote sites
- Key leadership role within a respected mining services business
