Job Summary

Overall Purpose:

 

The Senior Coordinator - Career Pathways supports the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Bank’s Career Pathways Frameworks and related procedures.

 

The role is a key delivery and coordination position within the Organisational Design team, contributing to the consistent application of career pathways, mobility and development frameworks across the Bank.

 

Working closely with Organisational Design leadership, and People & Culture stakeholders, the Senior Coordinator supports the integration of career planning considerations within capacity and workforce planning, capability frameworks, job architecture, in line with approved direction and governance.

 

 

Key Responsibilities


The job holder will be responsible for:

 

Career Pathways Frameworks

  • Supporting the development, review and maintenance of Career Pathways framework, policies, and supporting documentation.
  • Assisting with embedding Career Mapping Framework elements into Job Descriptions in collaboration with Job Architecture.
  • Coordinating the roll-out and consistent application of Career Pathways initiatives across functions and departments, in line with approved frameworks and criteria.
  • Supporting alignment of Career Pathways with existing categories, salary structures and progression systems.

 

Operational Delivery & Implementation

  • Coordinating the documentation of career milestones, eligibility criteria and progression requirements for Career Pathways opportunities.
  • Acting as a point of reference for process-related queries, providing guidance to employees, People & Culture stakeholders and business areas.
  • Maintaining Career Pathways Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), templates and supporting materials ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Supporting the preparation and updating of communication materials related to Career Pathways initiatives.

 

Internal Mobility & Development Support

  • Supporting collaboration with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and business areas to facilitate internal mobility opportunities.
  • Assisting with competency-based career development initiatives, including cross-functional exposures such as job shadowing, rotation and internal secondments.
  • Supporting with the mapping of learning content and development opportunities for each stage in the career ladder.
  • Coordinating with Employee Experience to build initiatives with colleges, universities and other institutions, to expand the horizon of current learning opportunities.

Communication & Engagement

  • Supporting organisation-wide communication and awareness activities related to Career Pathways.
  • Enabling the compilation and maintaining a Career Handbook for the employees, containing guidelines for career planning from the various phases and perspectives of the employees’ lifecycle journey.
  • Acting as a point of reference and guidance on applying for internal roles, and providing supporting material such as interview preparation guides, development plans sample, etc.
  • Assisting with the designing of campaigns to promote career exposure and mobility.
  • Participating in information sessions as a change supporter, enabling the reframing of the Bank’s culture to adopt a career development philosophy.

 

Collaboration & Integration

  • Engaging in cross-functional collaboration with Organisational Design colleagues to support the integration of Career Pathways outputs into relevant frameworks and relevant initiatives.
  • Provide operational feedback and insights to support continuous improvement discussions relating to policies and agreements, to ensure the inclusion of career opportunity initiatives for the workforce.
  • Supporting system and digital enhancements related to Career Pathways platforms and tools, in collaboration with HR Services and other stakeholders

 

 

 

In addition to the specific functions, management may assign more duties as required for the job from time to time.

Required Criteria

Previous proven work experience of three (3) years in Human Resources, Organisational Design, Financial Institution or a related area, and an MQF Level 5 Award in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Science or a related field.

 

 

OR

 

 

Previous proven work experience of four (4) years in Human Resources, Organisational Design, Financial Institution or a related area.

 

 

 

OR

 

 

Previous proven work experience of one (1) year in Human Resources, Organisational Design, Financial Institution or a related area, and an MQF Level 6 Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Science or a related field.
