Job purpose
To lead and deliver an integrated marketing and admissions strategy that increases enrolment and strengthens retention, ensuring the school is consistently visible and clearly positioned. The post holder will own the full admissions journey and ensure school communications are aligned, accurate, and on brand, delivering growth in a way that reflects the school’s values and strengthens community trust.
Key outcomes
Reach 150 plus students in year one (minimum net gain of 8), followed by sustained year on year growth against agreed targets
A healthy and measurable enquiry to enrolment pipeline, with improving conversion at each stage
Stronger retention through an excellent family experience and responsive, timely communication
Clear market positioning and consistent brand presentation across all channels
Key responsibilities
Enrolment strategy, planning and reporting
Set and deliver an annual enrolment growth plan with targets by year group and priority segments
Monitor the full admissions process and improve conversion at each stage
Provide monthly reporting to the Head of School with clear actions and priorities
Use lead source data, family feedback and market awareness to refine targeting and activity
Admissions delivery and family experience
Own the end to end admissions process for new families and siblings, ensuring it is professional, timely and welcoming
Set and maintain admissions service standards for responsiveness, follow up and clarity of next steps
Deliver high quality tours, open house events and follow up that build trust and convert enquiries
Maintain accurate prospective family records and workflows using a CRM or equivalent system
Ensure admissions processes are consistent, confidential, policy aligned and safeguarding aware
Marketing, brand and communications
Lead the school’s brand, key messages and storytelling to drive visibility and qualified enquiries
Oversee website, social media, email communications and admissions materials for quality and consistency
Maintain and deliver a clear content plan linked to enrolment priorities
Plan, deliver and evaluate termly promotional campaigns
Community outreach and referrals
Strengthen local visibility through community engagement and strategic relationships
Build referral pathways through current families, alumni and community partners, monitoring impact on enrolment
Represent the school externally in a way that enhances reputation and trust
Onboarding and retention
Lead new family onboarding communications and coordination so families feel known and supported
Use feedback from new families and leavers to improve onboarding and strengthen retention, aligning admissions promises with lived experience
Systems, data and continuous improvement
Maintain accurate admissions and marketing data, ensuring secure handling and appropriate privacy standards
Set, track and use key metrics to improve responsiveness, conversion, retention and campaign effectiveness
Continuously improve systems and processes so admissions is efficient, consistent and measurable
Leadership and operations
Manage the marketing and admissions budget effectively
Work closely with leaders, teachers and the office team to ensure a unified message and smooth family experience
