A leading advanced engineering organization at the forefront of precision motion control systems is seeking a Staff Mechanical Design Engineer to drive the development of next-generation electrohydraulic, electromechanical, and electropneumatic technologies.

This is not a maintenance role—this is a build, innovate, and lead opportunity where your designs will directly influence high-performance systems across industries like flight simulation, energy, and industrial automation.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems from concept through production
• Drive new product innovation, including requirements definition, trade studies, and validation
• Apply advanced engineering tools including FEA, CFD, and model-based design
• Solve high-impact engineering challenges across hydraulics, rotating machinery, and system dynamics
• Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Lead or contribute to design proposals, cost estimation, and technical documentation
• Mentor and guide engineers while influencing technical direction across projects

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's (required) or Master's (preferred) in Mechanical Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in advanced mechanical design and product development
• Deep expertise in:
  • Statics & Dynamics
  • Hydraulics & Electromechanical Systems
  • Stress, Fatigue & Performance Analysis
  • Rotating Machinery
  • FEA (Finite Element Analysis) & CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)
  • Model-Based Design
• Proven ability to operate with technical autonomy and leadership influence
• Experience bringing complex engineered products to market
