MongoDB’s Marketing Technology team is seeking a Workfront & AEM Assets System Administrator to own and govern our workflow and digital asset management ecosystem. This role will serve as the primary system owner for Adobe Workfront and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets, with responsibility for platform configuration, governance, and ongoing optimization across the Marketing organization.

This individual will act as a strategic partner to marketing stakeholders, ensuring that workflows, asset management practices, and system integrations are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business needs. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise, a strong operational mindset, and the ability to drive adoption and continuous improvement across both platforms.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Dublin for our hybrid working model.

Main Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end administration of Workfront, AEM Assets and Jira, including system configuration, workflow design, permissions, and licensing
  • Define and enforce governance frameworks, usage standards, and best practices across workflow platforms across Marketing
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap and long-term strategy for Workfront and AEM Assets, identifying opportunities for optimization, automation, and AI-enabled workflows
  • Partner with Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions
  • Collaborate with Change Management and Enablement teams to drive user adoption, training, and ongoing platform engagement
  • Manage and execute system configurations, enhancements, and updates in alignment with business priorities
  • Continuously evaluate platform performance and implement improvements based on user feedback and evolving marketing needs
  • Support integrations between Workfront, AEM Assets, and the broader MarTech ecosystem

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience administering Adobe Workfront and AEM Assets, including platform design, configuration, and governance
  • Strong knowledge of Workfront and AEM Assets features, functionality, and best practices
  • Experience partnering with Marketing and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable workflow and asset management solutions
  • Ability to translate business requirements into system configurations and process improvements
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Detail-oriented with a structured, proactive approach to system ownership and optimization

Bonus Points

  • Adobe Workfront certification (Core Developer Professional/Expert preferred; Project Manager Professional also valued)
  • Experience managing Jira
  • Experience with system integrations, APIs, or data flows within a MarTech ecosystem
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled workflow automation or digital asset management enhancements
  • Experience supporting adoption and enablement initiatives in enterprise environments
