About the Role

We’re looking for a Sr Staff Engineer, Quote-to-Cash (QTC) to design, optimize, and scale our end-to-end Q2C architecture across Salesforce CPQ, Malbek CLM, and NetSuite ERP.

You will be the functional and technical bridge between Sales, Legal, Finance, and IT, owning the design of a touchless transaction flow — from quote and contract creation to billing, revenue recognition, and cash application. 

This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce CPQ, a strong understanding of NetSuite financial processes & Provisioning automations and proven experience integrating CLM systems to create an automated, compliant, and auditable QTC experience.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Process Design

  • Own the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash architecture & development spanning Salesforce CPQ, CLM, and NetSuite ERP
  • Design and implement a touchless transaction processing model, minimizing manual steps across quoting, contracting, billing, and revenue recognition
  • Collaborate with Product managers and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions that balance automation, control, and compliance
  • Work closely with the engineering teams to design, implement and operationalize the Q2C Solutions

Business Systems

  • Lead system design for Salesforce CPQ, including product catalog architecture, pricing and discount rules, quote templates, and approval workflows
  • Optimize quote-to-order conversion ensuring accurate data flow into downstream billing and ERP systems
  • Implement governance on pricing, discounting, and quote approval thresholds to maintain margin and compliance integrity
  • Partnering with Quoting & RevOps s to streamline quote generation, renewals, and amendment flows
  • Improve deal velocity by streamlining approvals, leveraging A  in Salesforce CPQ
  • Integrate CLM (e.g., Ironclad, Conga, or DocuSign CLM) with Salesforce to automate quote-to-contract and contract-to-order workflows
  • Define metadata, clause libraries, and approval paths that enable self-service contract generation and touchless handoffs
  • Ensure contract terms and deal attributes are accurately synchronized with Salesforce CPQ for accurate billing and revenue recognition downstream
  • Design and govern integrations between Salesforce and NetSuite for order management, invoicing, and revenue recognition
  • Define mappings between CPQ orders and NetSuite Sales Orders to support automated billing and journal entries
  • Ensure strong data integrity, reconciliation processes, and audit readiness across CRM and ERP
  • Design and oversee integrations using iPass tools such as Celigo, Workato, Boomi, or MuleSoft to ensure reliable and auditable data exchange across systems
  • Implement event-based or API-driven integration patterns to support near real-time synchronization
  • Establish monitoring, error handling, and reconciliation frameworks for transaction-level traceability
  • Maintain architectural documentation, system diagrams, and process maps
  • Ensure all solution designs adhere to SOX, data governance, and security compliance standards
  • Identify and drive reduction of technical debt and manual touchpoints in the QTC ecosystem

Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in QTC or Finance Systems Architecture, with a focus on Salesforce CPQ and NetSuite ERP
  • Proven experience integrating CLM platforms (Ironclad, DocuSign, or Conga) with Salesforce
  • Accelerate the development lifecycle by utilizing AI for daily tasks, including coding, testing, and debugging
  • Proven experience in automating end to end Touchless transactions across Q2C platforms using tools like Klarity and UiPath 
  • Deep understanding of Quote-to-Cash business processes — including quoting, ordering, billing, provisioning and revenue recognition 
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce data model, CPQ configuration (pricing rules, product bundles, approval chains), and NetSuite transaction workflows
  • Experience with integration middleware (Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato) and API design
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to system design and delivery

Preferred

  • Deep experience in SaaS or subscription-based business models with recurring or usage-based revenue
  • Exposure to Salesforce Billing or external billing tools integrated with NetSuite
  • Prior experience designing touchless QTC flows in a SOX-compliant environment

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.
