Data SRE / Reliability Engineer

In this role, you sit at the crucial intersection of Site reliability, data engineering, operations, and quantitative research. Own the Pipelines: Monitor, optimise, and scale high-throughput data pipelines to ensure strict availability and performance SLAs are met.
Automate Reliability: Apply core SRE principles to build self-healing systems, automated alerting, and rapid recovery mechanisms.
Guarantee Quality: Design rigorous data quality tests to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness before data ever hits the trading floor.
Hunt Down Issues: Lead incident response, perform deep root-cause analysis, and engineer permanent, automated preventative solutions.

What You Bring

The Experience: 7 + years of hands-on experience in Site Reliability (SRE), Data Engineering, or Data Operations.
The Stack: Strong proficiency in SQL, complex ETL processes, and coding in Python, Scala, or C++.
The Tooling: Familiarity with modern data and observability ecosystems (e.g., Databricks, Airflow, Prometheus, Grafana).
The Mindset: Obsessed with automation, observability, and continuous improvement. (Bonus points for prior exposure to financial data pipelines or low-latency environments).
