Senior JIRA/atlassian Engineer

• Senior-level experience (5+ years) in Jira and Atlassian administration and environment architecture.
• C1 English level or higher.
• Proven experience designing and building Jira project environments from scratch, including custom workflows, fields, JQL, and automation rules at scale.
• Expertise in high-level dashboard development, turning raw project data into executive-level and operational reporting views.
• Prior experience in software product launch management or PMO within a product-centric organization.
• Strong program management background with a track record of delivering structured systems within fixed timelines.
• Hands-on experience with Jira Automation, project management, dashboard design, and SOP writing.

• Architect and build the Jira project environment for GTM and product launch workflows, establishing standard naming conventions, custom fields, and automation rules.
• Develop advanced Atlassian reporting dashboards, gadgets, and JQL filters to provide real-time visibility into launch readiness and portfolio status.
• Author comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs) and project management guides to ensure long-term system sustainability.
• Train and enable cross-functional teams to drive system adoption and support the migration of active projects into the new environment.
• Provide day-to-day program management support, tracking milestones, managing risks, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.

Niuro is hiring a Senior Jira/Atlassian Engineer for a US company that provides software, data, and consulting solutions for Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and regulatory compliance. The organization has approximately 51–200 employees and supports customers with product safety, chemical compliance, workplace safety, and sustainability initiatives.

The project is to design and launch a Jira environment from scratch as the central operating system for GTM initiatives and software product launches. You will work across product, engineering, GTM, operations, and executive stakeholders, creating scalable workflows, automation, JQL, and dashboards that provide a reliable view of milestones, risks, ownership, launch readiness, and portfolio health.

• Fully remote from South America, Central America, or Mexico.
• Six-month full-time contractor engagement, with possible extension based on performance.
• Compensation of USD 4,000–5,000 per month, depending on experience.
• High-ownership role with direct exposure to product, GTM, operational, and executive teams.
