ALTIA CENTRAL is currently accepting applications for an experienced ALT to join our team as a Local Lead Teacher (LLT) in Setouchi, Okayama Prefecture.
This role is ideal for an experienced ALT who is ready to take on greater responsibility while continuing to work directly in schools.
As an LLT, you will split your time between regular ALT teaching and supporting other ALTs, conducting school visits, assisting with training, and responding to local and regional needs.

▲ Full Time
▲ Monthly Income: ¥270,000
▲ Base Salary: ¥250,000 + LLT Position Allowance: ¥20,000
(includes fixed overtime pay - minashi zangyo)
▲ Shakai Hoken (Health Insurance and Pension)
▲ Paid Annual Leave
▲ Work-related travel expenses reimbursed
▲ Japanese Driver's License required
▲ JLPT N3 level Japanese or equivalent is strongly preferred
---Who We Are Looking For---
This is a position for an experienced ALT who is confident in the classroom and comfortable supporting others.
Applicants must have:
▲ At least two years of ALT experience in the Japanese education system
▲ At least three years of experience living in Japan
▲ Strong classroom ability across multiple school levels
▲ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
▲ The ability to provide constructive advice and guidance
▲ Strong organization and time-management skills
▲ Working knowledge of current MEXT guidelines
▲ Basic proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace

---The Role---
Local Lead Teachers serve as a key link between ALTs in the field and ALTIA CENTRAL's ALT Management Division.
Main responsibilities include:
▲ Supporting ALTs with teaching, professional development, and day-to-day issues
▲ Conducting school visits and providing constructive feedback and guidance
▲ Teaching regularly as an ALT
▲ Providing cover and make-up teaching in Okayama and nearby areas when required
▲ Assisting with training and professional development
▲ Supporting company events, local operations, and urgent situations as needed
▲ Helping maintain positive relationships with ALTs, schools, and local communities
