Job Description
Hospitalist - Fall River, MA (Sign-On & Relocation Bonus: $25,000)
Job Type: Full-time (on-site)
Schedule & Setting:
- 7-on / 7-off block schedule
- Shifts: 12-hour rounding (7 AM - 7 PM) and admitting swing (1 PM - 10 PM)
- No required overnight shifts
Setting: Inpatient - community hospitals
Responsibilities:
- Manage general medical inpatients
- No ICU admissions, procedures, or intubations required
- Collaborate with in-house specialists, case managers, and advanced staff
- Utilize Epic EMR with voice-recognition and MDCoder for efficient documentation and charge capture
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient encounters, diagnoses, and care plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and coordinate care transitions
Requirements:
- MD or DO with valid Massachusetts medical license (or eligibility)
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
