Typically, this person will define, manage and deliver engineering projects and bids on time and in full while acting as the key interface between engineering teams, project management and other internal departments.

Duties and responsibilities of the Project Engineer
- Translate customer requirements into measurable engineering deliverables
- Define engineering project deliverables and manage project design data
- Hold and document design reviews including PDR and CDR
- Manage design resources, engineering hours and project budgets
- Liaise with Project Managers and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle
- Support concept design and overall system design activities
- Review and sign off drawings for manufacture
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and systems
- Produce technical reports and maintain project documentation
- Support systems testing and validation using instrumentation and data logging
- Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline
- Proven experience working in a Project Engineer or similar role
- Working towards or holding Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status with a professional institution
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or ability to achieve within 3 years
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines, budgets and multiple tasks
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
