About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior HR Advisor to join our People & Culture team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that operates as the “engine room” of HR—supporting the delivery of efficient, compliant and high-quality people operations across the business.

Working closely with the Senior HR Manager and HR Business Partners you will provide critical operational support while maintaining your own small business partnering portfolio. This role offers broad exposure across the full employee lifecycle and is ideal for someone looking to further develop toward an HR Business Partner or specialist career pathway.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior HR Manager to deliver key HR initiatives and strategic priorities
  • Provide operational and overflow support to HR Business Partners across recruitment, onboarding and employee relations
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations including HR inbox queries, reporting, and documentation
  • Support employee relations processes including probation, performance management and investigations
  • Assist with leadership development programs and training initiatives
  • Manage sponsorship, visa processes and compliance requirements
  • Prepare HR reports and provide insights to support decision-making
  • Contribute to engagement, wellbeing and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

You are an organised and adaptable HR professional who thrives in a energetic environment and enjoys balancing multiple priorities. You bring a strong customer service mindset and take pride in delivering high-quality, timely outcomes.

You will also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations and managing IR/ER cases
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and modern awards (HIGA preferred)
  • Experience in reporting, data analysis and presenting insights
  • Exposure to learning and development or leadership programs
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
