About The Role

In this ownership-driven environment, you'll work end-to-end on backend systems that power real-time messaging, automation, and AI-driven workflows at scale. Your ideas will directly shape the product and architecture.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and ship new backend features end-to-end for customers across multiple communication channels.
- Improve platform performance and reliability to enhance the overall user experience.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the long-term technical direction of the platform.
- Help shape internal development processes, tooling, and engineering best practices.
- Bring your own ideas to influence product direction and technical strategy.
- Must-have: Proficiency in both Java and TypeScript.
- Experience with Quarkus or Spring Boot (or comparable JVM frameworks).
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS and Terraform for cloud infrastructure.
- Strong PostgreSQL skills and experience with relational data modeling at scale.
- Familiarity with AI/LLM libraries such as LangGraph or similar.
- Background building scalable backend systems for communications, messaging, or similar high-throughput platforms.
- Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, distributed systems).
- Senior-level experience with a proven track record of delivering complex features independently.
- Experience with event-driven architectures using queues and pub/sub systems (e.g. SQS, SNS).
- Familiarity with search infrastructure (e.g. OpenSearch/Elasticsearch).
- Prior work at or with B2B SaaS companies in the messaging, CRM, or customer engagement space.
